On March 29th, Kang Seungyoon released the MV for ‘I-YAH‘, the title track of his first full length album ‘Page‘. The composer and songwriter said that this album contains his music journey of the last 10 years.
“I’m really really happy and excited because this [album] can finally see the light, after all my efforts to produce it. This album is is meaningful to me, because in it I reminisce on my 10 years of music activities. To be able to share it to the world is like a dream come true.” Seungyoon said.
The singer also compared his solo release to WINNER‘s music and concluded that there aren’t many differences, as he tries not to limit his creativity for music genres and because WINNER’s music is very diverse.
Although, Seungyoon continued, “WINNER also tried to deliver a comforting message to many people, but as a boygroup, the emphasis is on refinement, coolness, and bright energy. Meanwhile my solo focuses on the story. I think that’s the biggest difference”
