ITZY Becomes The First Ever Group Spokemodel for Maybelline

ITZY will make their first appearance as spokemodels this spring, during Maybelline’s Hypersharp Liner, Ultimatte Lipstick, and SuperStay Foundations campaigns in Asia.

“I have been watching ITZY’s inspiring rise and was drawn to how dynamic they are both as a group and individuals,” Maybelline New York’s global brand president, Trisha Ayyagari, briefed in a statement. “They champion self-love, individuality, and self-expression to their fans and global community.”

This was the mindset behind the collaboration, which became a first not only to the Korean artists, but also to the brand. The girlgroup is the first ever Korean artist and also music group to stand as the brand’s spokemodels.

“We have always admired the Maybelline brand and are so excited to be able to contribute our creativity, positivity, and energy to their global community,” said ITZY. They also see this as an opportunity to showcase their talents to a wider audience.

The partnership was revealed in a short clip, with the english version of Not Shy playing in the background.

ITZY will also make a comeback on April 30 with Guess Who. The album, of which there aren’t many details yet, has already opened pre-orders ten days ago.
