K-dramas to look forward in March 2021

As a new month starts, new K-dramas begin! In this post we’ll cover the most awaited series of the month.

Mouse (March 3rd)

A thriller-suspense drama with an outstanding cast.

A crazed serial killer’s ruthless murders have left the entire nation gripped with fear, and chaos reigns. Lee Seunggi stars as the rookie police officer with an high sense of justice that comes to face with the killer. Accompanying him are Lee Hee Joon (Legend of the Blue Sea), Park Joohyun (Extracurricular) and Kyung Soo Jin (Train).

Love Alarm Season 2 (March 12th)

Starting off from where the last season left, Jojo (Kim Sohyun) sets out to uninstall the shield and make the app ring for her one true love.

The drama returns with the same cast, featuring Song Kang as Hwang Sunoh, Go Minsi as Park Gulmi and Jung Garam as Lee Hyeyong.

Revolutionary Sisters (March 13th)

Thriller and comedy mix up in “Revolutionary Sisters”! While in the process of filing for a divorce, a mother is murdered. All of her immediate family members are potential suspects.

The cast is composed of domestic well-known actors like as Hong Eunhee, Jeon Hyebin, Go Wonhee, Kim Kyungnam, Lee Boohee, Choi Daechul and Yoon Joosang. The series will be up for a long run of 50 episodes.

Navillera (March 22nd)

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Navillera” tells the story of Duk Chool (Park In Hwan), a man who begins ballet at the age of 70, and Chae Rok (Song Kang), a 23-year-old ballerino who gets lost while chasing his dreams.

As he approaches his senior years, Duk Chool unearthes a long-cherished dream to dance ballet. Meanwhile Chae Rok, who started ballet late but has a rare talent, lost his direction due to a clash with hard reality.

Song Kang is also the male lead of “Love Alarm 2”.

Joseon Exorcist (March 22nd)

Joseon Exorcism follows the story of Crown Prince Yangnyeong (Park Sunghoon) and Second Prince Changnyeong (Jang Dongyoon) . The first, consumed by greed, signs a pact with an evil spirit. Meanwhile his younger brother decides to fight the entity.

The drama also stars Kim Dongjun (Chief of Staff), Jung Hyesung (Oh My Venus) and Geum Saerok (Class of Lies).

Monthly Magazine Home (March 22nd)

Starring Kim Ji Suk (When the Camellia Blooms) and Jung Somin (Because This is My First Life), “Monthly House” is a romance story about a man who buys houses and a woman who lives in rented one. It follows the diverse stories of the editors of a home magazine. It also has Hello Venus ex-member Yooyoung as a supporting role.

Oh My Ladylord (March 24th)

With leads Lee Minki, After School’s Nana and CNBLUE’s Kang Minhyuk, the drama is about a screenwriter and a rom-com actress.

While the writer chooses not to date, the actress cannot seem to date. The story unfolds as they find themselves sharing the same living quarters.

Summer Guys (March 30rd)

Youth-filled drama about four young men and women trying to revive an old cocktail bar in the beach. The cast counts with ex-Gugudan and Pristin members, Kang Mina and Im Nayoung respectively, as the female leads. Their male counterparts are CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin, former JBJ’s Kwon Hyun Bin and model Lee Jung Sic. In addition, special appearances by Hyunjoo and Kim Dongjun were announced.

It’s also the first Lee Jung Shin drama since his release from the military.
