The singer participated in the writing and composing of all the album’s songs. “Composing itself was like a vent. It didn’t feel like work, but rather like a hobby or playing” Sejeong said, “I wanted to show a different image, so I diet and practiced hard”.
Due to the hands-on work she put on this album, the songs contain many of her own thoughts. The title track Warning, encourages people to take a break when it’s needed, and reassures “If you take a break, your next step will be lighter.”
Sejeong hopes to comfort her fans through her songs. It’s also not the first time she takes on the role of songwriter and composer, as she participated in the production of her 1st mini album Flower and the digital single Whale.
